FAD - Fostering Arts and Design Barcelona

MATERFAD is a materials library that offers advice on the use of materials to inspire and accelerate innovation and sustainability. Material comes first.

Besides the library with more than 3,000 samples, organises dissemination activities to educate and train about the role and opportunities of materials. I connected Materfad to different companies as well as participated in the development and production of exhibitions such as Future Woods: Earth & Mars (with Architect@Work) or Taboo Materials (Isola Design Districtx Dutch Design Week).

My first contact with Materfad was back in 2009 to produce a real time capsule.
